TEACHER OF THE YEAR 2008

To be awarded to:

  • One who has made noteworthy or outstanding contributions by using novel approaches to enhance the learning process and/or
  • One who has made exceptional contributions to his/her community

OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR 2008 (Leadership Award)

To be awarded to:

  • One who has made distinctive contributions to support the high ideals of PDK: leadership, research and service;
  • One who has demonstrated excellent leadership skills inside or outside his/her educational institution

PROMISING FIRST YEAR TEACHER AWARD

To be awarded to:

  • One who is a new teacher and has provided positive interactions with students, faculty/staff, parents/community;
  • One who is an outstanding member of the profession whose work reflects significant educational success for students, continued professional development, and the highest standards of educational quality
